Wilma Ora Iorg Noakes was born December 2, 1918 to Claude Iorg and Irene Potts in Upalco, Duchesne County, Utah. Wilma passed away June 25, 2007 in Kennewick, WA., after complications from kidney disease. Wilma married William A. Noakes on October 4, 1946, and he preceded her in death 30 years ago. Wilma was the oldest of 12 children and is survived by 4 brothers and sisters; Myra Mitchell of Upalco, Ut., Glen H. Iorg of Bluebell, Ut., Marion Iorg of Salt Lake City, Ut., Beryl Kohler of Logan, Ut., Milton Iorg of Roosevelt, Ut., Betty Goodrich of Bluebell, Ut., Shirley Ames of Altonah, Ut., and Robert Iorg of Ft. Bridger, Wy. She is preceded in death by siblings; Howard Iorg, Devere Iorg and Rhea Iorg. Wilma is survived by her daughter Shona and son-in-law Boyd Petty from Pasco, WA; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Services will be held on July 12, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS Chapel in Altamont, Ut. A viewing will be at the chapel starting at 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Internment will be in the Altamont City Cemetery immediately following the funeral service. Wilma will be missed by all who knew and loved her including her sweet friends and extended family at Tri-Cities Retirement Inn. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice.
