Wilma Marie Cole went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, April 14, 2019. Marie was born in Clarksville, Arkansas on October 25, 1920 to Billie and Lois Morrison. On May 23, 1936 she married the love of her life, Gordon Cole. They were married for 58 years until Gordon passed away in 1994. Together they raised five children. Marie's life was devoted to her family. She was very involved in her church and served the Lord with a joyful heart. She had a special way of making people feel loved. Her grandchildren were especially precious to her and she spent endless hours playing games, putting puzzles together, and baking cookies with them. Marie leaves behind a rich legacy of unwavering faith in God, love of family, and a life devoted to serving others. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; son, Kenneth Cole; grandson, Steven Lessig; parents, Billie and Lois Morrison; sisters, Mildred and Bonnie; and brother, John Morison. Marie is survived by her son, Tom Cole (Sharon); daughters, Billie Johnson; Linda Cary (Richard); and Debra Kottke (Tim); 15 grandchildren and numerous great and great great grandchildren; sister, Shirley; and many nieces and nephews. A niche side service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019, at 12:30 PM at Desert Lawn Memorial Park at 1401 South Union Street in Kennewick, Washington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marie's name to Heartlinks Hospice or Gideon's International.
