Wilma "Winnie" Blair passed away January 1, 2018 at Callaway Gardens. She was born July 19, 1919 to Charles and Myrtle Tramel in Newark, Arkansas. She moved to Kennewick, Washington from Oklahoma with her family at the age of 12. They were following the fruit harvest and decided to stay when they came to Kennewick. She met her future husband of 42 years, Ben Blair, at a dance at the Grange Hall, located on the corner of Washington Street and 27th Avenue, when she was 15 and he was 16. They wed two ears later and had two daughters. She is survived by her daughters, Sylvia Marquez and Shirley Fiore; three grandchildren, Marc Fiore, Steve and Cindy Bowers, Kathy and John Burrus; two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Nick Byrd, Bradley Bowers and Marisa; two great-great-grandchildren, Luke and Braxton Byrd. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Winnie was a wheat farmer's wife. She cooked for many harvest crews for many years of her married life. She was an excellent cook! She like to play Bridge in her later years and visit the casinos where she was very lucky. She was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband, five brothers, all six brothers-in-law, six sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018, 1:00 p.m., at Mueller's Chapel of the Falls, 314 W. First Ave., Kennewick.
