Willie W. Weisz, 74, long time resident of Pasco; passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2006 at home of a sudden heart attack. Willie was born July 13, 1930 in Goodrich, North Dakota the 4th child of John and Lydia Weisz. The family moved to the area in 1941. Willie graduated from Pasco High School in 1950; he served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Willie met the love of his life, Mary Bozlee Becker in 1974 and married her in 1976 in Boise, Idaho. They had over 30 wonderful years together. Willie was proud to be father to Sherry and especially proud to be grandpa to Se?lah. He was always devoted to his family, a wonderful husband, good dad, fantastic grandpa and a loving brother. Willie was an avid fisherman?always knowing the next fish would be the best catch ever. He also enjoyed hunting with the family on the yearly camp-outs. Bowling a few frames, having a good story and a stiff drink would always make him smile. Willie worked for Boeing in Seattle and when his area closed up he returned to Pasco and went to work for Safeway retiring after 25 years there. Willie is preceded in death by his parents, and older brother Granville. Surviving Willie is his wife Mary; daughter Sherry and Grand daughter Se?lah. He is also survived by his siblings; Sisters Irene Thornton, Donna Martins Edward, Janice Mullins. Brothers Don, sister in law Bertha Stout and her husband Mike; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews along with numerous friends and extended family. There will be a viewing on Monday, August 14, 2006 from 3:00 until 8:00p.m. at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union, Kennewick. Services for Willie will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. also at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home.
