William Patrick Van Pelt went to our Heavenly Father on July 9, 2026.

Pat was born on July 4th 1954 with his twin Patty in Little Rock, AR. Pat attended Kennewick schools from 3rd grade – 12th grade. Pat married his wife Karen on January 20, 1973. Together they have two sons, Sean & Richard.

He is survived by his Wife Karen, his children Sean & Richard, granddaughter Abegail, siblings Patty, Debra & Kenneth. Pat is also survived by 3 generations of nieces and nephews.

Pat was a proud member of Local 598. Completing a 4-yr apprenticeship with them. He certified in nondestructive testing. He worked at Hanford and various contractors throughout the USA.

He enjoyed the outdoors. His favorite activities were horse racing, fishing and bird hunting.

He'll be missed by many.

A funeral Service will be held on Saturday July 18th, at 11:00amat Mueller's Tri Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S Union St, Kennewick Washington. A Graveside service will follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, as well as a reception at Life Tributes Center 314 W 1st Ave, Kennewick, WA.
