Obituary

William Russell Peck passed away unexpectedly on August 14th, 2016. He was born to John and Pearl Peck on December 13, 1950 in Geary, OK. William enlisted in the U.S. Navy at the age of 20 and served as a Corpsman for 4 years. He was honorably discharged in 1974. He was married to Wanda for 18 years, and a father to 6 children. William was working as an Operator for Con Agra in Pasco, WA. He began work there in 1988, and was a loved and valued employee. William enjoyed professional sports and was an avid fan of the Oakland Athletics and Oakland Raiders. "Just win, Baby." (Al Davis) He was a fun-loving, generous and personable guy. He was quick to lend a helping hand to others in need, whether family, friend, or acquaintance. He liked to boast about the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren, and celebrated individual milestones reached. He loved living in the Tri-Cities, where he lived for over 25 years. William is survived by his children Cassandra, Regina, Wyatt, Jay, Jennifer, Carl Yancey and their spouses, 19 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brother Carl, sister Linda and their families. For those who would like to pay their respects, a graveside service will be held at Desert Lawn Memorial Park on Monday August 22nd at 11:00 a.m. with a reception on the premises to follow.
