William "Dan" Morris born in Wallace, Idaho, December 13, 1948 departed peacefully at home with his family December 9, 2018 on his way to eternal life. He grew up in Kennewick, Washington, graduating from Kennewick High and CBC. Since his days in FFA, Dan loved animals and wanted a farm. This small farm he enjoyed for 40 years. A union carpenter by trade, Local 1849, he built his home with wife Cathy Steach Morris. Dan also loved nature and spent many hours with friends hunting, fishing, and camping. Dan and Cathy have continued dancing to their favorite band "The Shades". Dan is survived by his wife of 45 years Cathy and son Chris (Star); grandchildren Shyla, Jasmin, and Cooper; great grandchildren Madison and Noah. His friendship, wry humor, and good nature will be missed. Celebration of life will be at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home at 1402 S. Union Street in Kennewick on Sunday, December 16th at 2:00 PM.
