William ?Bill? Eugene Gilyeat, 68, passed away June 6, 2010 with his family at his side. Bill was born in Pocatello, Idaho to Eugene and Verna Gilyeat. He graduated from Shoreline High School. He was a patriot rider, assisting with veterans, and involved with the Desert Thunder motorcycle riding club. Bill was a member of Plumbers & Pipefitters Union 32 of Seattle and Local 598 of Pasco. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brother Thomas Kent Gilyeat and granddaughter Catherine. He is survived by his loving best friend, Judy Portillo; three sons Scott Alan Rosanne of Maple Valley, WA, Kenneth Eugene Polly of Shoreline, WA and William Eric Sarah of Marysville, WA; brother Michael Lynn of Eugene, Oregon; sister Sally K David Greene of Mt Summit, Indiana; and seven grandchildren Arthur, Jonathan, Benjamin, Kimberly, Stephanae, CJ, and Rachael. Viewing will be Friday, June 11th, 5 to 8 p.m., at Mueller?s Tri-Cities Funeral Home, located at 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 12th, 2:30 p.m., at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 10th & Union, Kennewick. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Tri-Cities Cancer Center or VFW, Post 5785, Kennewick.
