Obituary

William Allen "Jerry" Cramer, 78, of Kennewick passed away peacefully at Kadlec Medical Center on June 1, 2018. Jerry was born to Ted and Pauline Cramer on September 17, 1939 in Spokane, WA. He graduated from Wapato High School in 1957. In 1957 he married Mildred Burkhardt and they had two children, Katherine and Michael (Lisa). They divorced in 1971 and he married Geraldine Kibler in 1972 and they had one son, Brian (Kristie). Jerry started working as a teenager for Dan McDonald in his orchards. He retired after 25 years of service from Chevron Chemical in Finley and he continued his career as a business representative for the Oil Chemical and Atomic Workers Union until he retired again in 1999. In his retirement years, he enjoyed snowbirding with his wife in Arizona, camping, and watching the Mariners and his grandchildren play sports. In his younger years, he was active in sports by refereeing basketball games, playing men's softball, and water skiing. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Virginia, Barbara, Larry, Roger, and Gary. He is survived by his wife, children, and his grandchildren, Breanna (Jeff), Cole, Bryce, Hannah, and Hunter, his sisters, Patty and Judy, and his brothers, Gail and Joel. The family has chosen to have a private burial. The family would like you join them on Friday, June 8th for lunch and a celebration of life, 1:00pm at Garden Christian Assembly located at 6811 W Okanogan Pl, Kennewick, WA. In lieu of flowers, memorials made in Jerry's name may be made to Tri-Cities Union Gospel Mission or to Hanford Flames Baseball Club PO Box 4673 West Richland, WA 99353.
