William Donald Butler, 94, passed away May 17th, 2024, in Richland at the Kadlec Regional Medical Center. William was born July 7th, 1929, to Lee Ethel and Lafayette "Faye" Butler in Palestine Lovelady, Texas. William graduated from Lurkin High School, and following graduation he joined the United States Army. After retiring from the military, William then went on to work for North West Labor for over 25 years.

In 1949, William married Deloris Berry in Crockett, Texas. Not long after, they expanded their family to welcome Lillie Collins, Shedrick Collins, Devonna Collins Johnson into their beautiful family. William Donald Butler is survived by his daughter O'Linda L. Butler McKnight, nephew Robert Gaston Houston, nieces Avis Butler, Wandofaye Butler, Helen Butler, and a host of family and friends including 9 children, 31 grandchildren, and 40 great-grandchildren.

A Graveside service with Military Honors will be held on May 24, 2024, at 11:00am at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1401 Sout Union Street, Kennewick, WA 99338
