Loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, Wendy Kay Gilliam Platt, passed away October 13, 2011 at her home in Kennewick, WA. She was born to Wayne and Velma Platt in Sacramento, California on January 31, 1949. Wendy was a graduate of Pasco High School class of 1967. Wendy enjoyed flowers and gardening and was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister and grandmother. Her family was the center of her world. She was survived by her husband of 41 years Greg Gilliam; sons Chris Ilka and Bryan; grandchildren Sarah and Andrew Gilliam; sister Linda Wes Avery; niece Sherry Jeff Orthmann; nephew Wayne Avery; mother-in-law Nellie Gilliam; nephew Shane Gilliam and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 19th, 2011, 3:00 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home at 1401 S. Union Street Kennewick. Wendy was a loving, caring mother, grandmother and friend, and will be missed by all.
