Wava Mae Cockrum age 86 passed away Sunday February 24, 2008 at Kennewick General Hospital. Wava was born February 15. 1922 to Lloyd and June Anders in Fairfield, Iowa. She attend and graduated from the Fairfield High School. Wava married her husband in Iowa. After which they moved to California. While in California she worked as a plane spotter, during WWII. Later in 1948 they moved to Richland so her husband could work at Hanford. Then moving to Kennewick in 1955. She work as a Cook at Ballerina's and Danny's restaurant's in Kennewick. She loved to garden, bowl and crochet in her spare time. Wava is survived by her daughters; Marie Cockrum and Paula Ogburn both of Kennewick, Teresa Dills of Spokane Valley. Granddaughters, Lisa Bodey Randy of Richland, Dawn Fawver of Cleburne, TX, and Kimberly Dills of Spokane Valley, Wa. Grandsons; Gary Ogburn Jr. of Puyallup and Jacob Dills of Spokane Valley, Wa. Great Grandchildren; Jessica, Kaleb, Ryan, Kyla and Ashlee. Interment will be at Desert Lawn Memorial Park, Kennewick, Washington.
