Obituary

Virgie (Kinsey) Johnson was born November 7, 1935 in Cleveland, Mississippi. She was the fourth child born to Sanders Kinsey, Sr. and Carletta Kinsey. She accepted Christ at an early age. Virgie attended Cleveland Colored High School in Cleveland, Mississippi. She worked as a Head Drapery Seamstress with Lida's Drapery in Kennewick, until her retirement. Virgie married Aubrey Johnson in 1969, they remained friends until her passing. She loved entertaining, cooking, fishing, and enjoyed traveling to visit family members and friends in various states. Virgie was preceded in death by her mother, Carletta Kinsey; Father, Sanders Kinsey, Sr.; Sisters, Mary Ethel Morgan, Venice Garrett; and Brother, Elester Kinsey, Sr. Virgie is survived by her brother, Sanders Kinsey, Jr. (Evelyn) of Renton, Washington and sister Lisa Moore of Victorville, California. Virgie will be deeply missed by four generations of Loving Nieces and Nephews along with special friends.
