Valerie Fisher, 57, died May 25th, 2010 at her home after losing a hard battle with lung cancer for 1 1/2 years. Valerie was born on August 6, 1952 in Pasco, Washington and retired as a switchboard operator in 1982. Her interests were family, fishing, birds, frogs and her dog Lucy. She will be greatly missed by all. She achieved a life long goal of finding her older brother Stuart L. Duckworth who was adopted in 1945. They finally contacted Val in the spring of 2009 and met for the first time two days after her 57 birthday. Valerie was survived by her Grandmother Marie Grooms, her husband of 35yrs Randy Kerr, Sons Chris Schuler, Travis and Brian Fisher, Brothers Stuart, Ron and Cory, Grandchildren Joanna, Chris, Jeremy, Ashley, Jared, Britney, Brandon, Eric, Joseph, Amber, Jared and Devin, Great grandchildren Kyler, Andrew, Ethen, Cody, Jason, Conner, Alexis and newest edition. Funeral Services are Tuesday, June 1st, 1pm, at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home 1401 S Union S. Kennewick WA. Reception to follow.
