Tracy Lynn Wilson, a lifelong resident of Kennewick, Washington, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2026, after a short illness.

Tracy was born on September 20, 1963. She was the daughter of Donald and Barbara Wilson. Tracy attended kindergarten through 12th grade in Kennewick, where she made many lasting friendships. She enjoyed drama and participated in many plays, with her most memorable character being the bald-headed Kojak. She participated on the flags and rifles team with the KHS marching band, winning many awards as they traveled around the state. She also played softball and graduated from beauty school during her senior year.

After graduation, Tracy went to work as a hairstylist and quickly built a robust clientele. She soon put down her beauty shears to start a family and raise her two daughters.

Tracy had quite a personality. She was incredibly funny and witty, often taking on the memorable personality of “Consuela.” She had a wonderful ability to make people laugh and was never afraid to laugh at herself.

Tracy was an avid fisherman, with her most impressive catch being a 10-foot sturgeon. Recently she and her grandson Jax could be found magnet fishing the ponds of Canyon Lakes. She was also an avid snow skier, and many wonderful memories were made during family motorhome trips to ski areas throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Family reunions were especially memorable when Tracy was around. She was often the mastermind behind pranking Uncle Denny, from short-sheeting his bed to freezing his underwear. She entertained the family as one of the Floradora Girls and also played Ethel in the family’s controversial interpretation of the song “The Streak.”

Tracy was an expert destiny card reader, and everyone was always amazed by the accuracy of her readings. She could also be found outside late at night, watching the sky and waiting to catch the space station passing overhead. She always shared news of her beloved eagle couple of Big Bear Lake, California, Shadow and Jackie. She loved watching them raise their eaglets.

She was known for her spontaneous new hairstyles—sometimes followed by an inexpensive new wig—and always had the ability to laugh at her follies.

Above all, Tracy was a reliable and true friend.

Tracy was preceded in death by her father, Donald Wilson. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Wilson; her daughters, Melissa Eggers and Michelle Eggers (Blaine White); her grandchildren, Jayza and Julius Williams, Jax Eggers, and Collin Eggers; and her sister, Micki Wilson.

Tracy will be remembered for her quick wit, adventurous spirit, endless sense of humor, and, most of all, the love she had for her family. Her laughter, stories, and unforgettable personality will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew her.

A viewing will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Mueller’s on Union Street in Kennewick. Burial will immediately follow at 1 p.m. The family will host a potluck luncheon at the home of Janet and Chris Westfall, 19906 South 2161 PRSC, Kennewick, WA 99337.
