Tommy E. Hudson was born on August 19, 1925 to William and Lenore Hudson. Tommy was raised with brother Carl, sister Lillian. At the age of 17, in 1942, Tommy become one of the greatest generation when he joined the Merchant Marines. In 1950, Tommy married Dona Oswalt and was happily married for 61 years. Tommy was employed as an auto parts salesman and repaired sewing machines in our home. Dad's health deteriorated after Mom's death. Tommy passed away on March 24, 2016 at Avalon Health Care from complications of congestive heart failure, pneumonia, and dementia. Tommy leaves behind his daughter Pat Haeg and spouse John, grandchildren Jennifer Bateman and Troy Pattee, Scott and Amber Haeg, and Jared Haeg; daughter Sue Kennelly and spouse Steve, grandchildren Justin Hudon and fiancée Michelle Valdez, Jeff and Suzy Hudon; daughter Tammy Hudson; daughter Candy Hudson and fiancé George; great-granddaughters Mikayla Bateman, Scarlet Hudon, Emma and Ellie Hudon. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister, wife Dona, son-in-law Clifford Schock and grandson John Schock. Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016, 2:00 p.m., at Riverview Heights Cemetery, 1200 S. Olympia St., Kennewick.
