On May 6, 2006 Timothy Wayne Kinnison put on his tennis shoes and walked into the light to be with our Lord Jesus Christ. Tim was born in Douglas Wyoming to Robert and Patsy Kinnison on April 4, 1956 who preceded him in death. Tim left behind his best friend and beautiful bride Penny Dunlap whose strength and love for him gave him joy and kept him strong until the end. Her generous love and support gave him the best two years of his life. Tim is survived by his two sons, Mathew A. Kinnison and Justin P. Kinnison and their mother, Wenda Thomas. Also two brothers James A. Kinnison and Michael R. Kinnison; two sisters, Teresa L. Kinnison and Penny R. Weidman and husband Dalis; eight grandchildren, seven nephews and many, many close friends. One of his closest was Gil Scrivner and his wife Susan. While in the Army Tim was stationed in Fort Carson, Colorado for four years. After returning to the Tri-Cities he was employed at Framatone for 25 years. Tim?s love for life included many things from camping and fishing to wrestling and boxing with his sons. This lead to his two minutes of fame in the Tuff man competition, family and friends gathered to watch as he entered the ring only to be helped out. Tim also had a love for darts, where he achieved the status as one of the top nine players in the world. There are many good and funny things Tim did in life and stories that we would like for all of you to share. His sons and family invite all friends to join them at the graveside service and afterwards join them at Tim?s nephew?s home in Finley to celebrate his life. A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 10:00a.m. at Desert Lawn Memorial Park in Kennewick. A celebration of life will be held in Finley. Tim was a wonderful man who cherished every minute of life spent with his family and friends. He?s taken his final fishing trip and found his peace there. We?ll see you at the river Dad.
