Thomas (Tom) F. Walker, age 73, passed away from his battle with cancer since 2006 on Sunday, October 13, 2024 in his home with his wife, Sandra K. Walker and son, Ryan T. Walker. Tom was born in Maryville, MO. to his father, Bill F. Walker, and his mother, Helen M. Ottmann. Tom grew up in Rock Port, MO. Tom's adventure into the working world started in carry out, stocking shelves and packing meat in the grocery store; then he moved up through the years becoming a Senior Scheduler at Energy N.W. in Richland, WA.
Tom graduated from Rock Port High in 1970 and retired in 2016. Tom lived in his home in Kennewick, WA, for 48 years and with his wife for 23 years. Tom enjoyed cars, loved music, playing his guitar, and watching documentaries about musicians. Him and his wife enjoyed going on cruises, going to movies and out to dinner for the special occasions. He loved to cook for his family, and card games with friends and family brought lots of laughter and fun times.
Tom is survived by his wife, Sandra K. Walker; son, Ryan T. Walker; stepsons, Sean M. Dallaire (Kristen), and Chad P. Dallaire; brother, Robert Walker; sister, Betty J. Nixon; brother in-law, Jerry M. Bishop; grandchildren, McKayla H. Dallaire (Quentin), Austin M. Dallaire (Natalie), James M. Getchell, Mercedez M. Kaiser (Zach); nieces and nephews, Travis and Billy, Bobbie Jo, Charles, Jeremy, Sandy and Gary; great-grandchildren, Cody, Madison and Layton Kaiser. Tom is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Pfeil; brothers-in-law, Gary Pfeil, and Jamie Nixon; niece, Debbie Miller; and mother and father, Helen and Bill Walker.
A viewing will be held at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S Union St, Kennewick, WA 99338 on October 26, 2024 from 12PM to 1PM followed by a funeral service. A graveside service will be held immediately after the funeral at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. A reception to follow at 314 W 1st Ave, Kennewick, WA 99336.
