Thomas Marcelino Ramirez-Garza, 37, was born in Kennewick, Washington on July 31,

1987, to parents Teresa Ramirez and Alejandro 'Alex' Garza. He was raised in Pasco by his

loving great-grandparents, Felix and Santos Vargas, and remained in the Tri-City area

throughout most of his adulthood. Recently, Thomas decided to pursue a career as a mechanic

and was attending an apprenticeship program at Spokane Community College.

Along with his parents, Thomas is survived by his two daughters, Mariah Ramirez and

Grace Ramirez. His siblings Armando Ramirez (Mikayla), Reyna Wakefield (Casey), Carmen

Moore (Jereme), Alejandro Garza Jr. (Martiza) and Deja Garza (Gabriel). Grandparents, Santos

Scott, Adrian Scott, Tomas and Carol Garza, and Dale and Marcela Prettyman. He also leaves

behind many adored nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

Although his life was brief, it was lived to the fullest. Thomas will be remembered for his

deep love for his daughters and his adventurous spirit. Among Thomas' most cherished

adventures were skydiving and hiking Mount Adams, where he proudly placed a flag at the

summit. We will miss his incredible sense of humor and his vibrant personality.

Welcoming Thomas into Heaven are his great-grandparents, Felix and Santos Vargas,

his grandfather Jesse G. Ramirez Sr., his uncle Jesse G. Ramirez Jr., and many other beloved

family members.
