Thomas Eugene Mallonee, 70, of Kennewick, Washington, passed away on July 2, 2017 peacefully in his sleep. Tom was born in Kennewick, Washington on October 13, 1946. He graduated from Kennewick High School in 1964 and joined and served honorably in the United States Marine Corps from 1964 to 1967. Tom continued to lead, inspire, and serve his family for the next 50 years. He successfully started, ran, and operated his own construction businesses and video rental stores until his early retirement in late 1990's. Tom worked very hard at everything he put his hands to and enjoyed taking time off to spend with all his family. In his last days, he continued to lead that lifestyle. While fiercely independent, Tom was happiest when his family and friends gathered, and he took pride in his children and grandchildren's accomplishments. Tom's wisdom, insight, and leadership was sought after by those that knew him, and he took great pains to give all of himself in service and support to those he loved. Tom is survived by his nine children, Debbie Priest, Tom Mallonee, Troy Mallonee, James Alford, Jerame Clough, Lisa Guajardo, Jessica Woody, Kristen Tisdale and Bobby Tisdale; his 14 grandchildren Melisa (30), Brandon (28), Casey (25), Lindsey (24), Spencer (24), Kyle (24), Sidney (22), Sean (18), Dezirea(10), Elijah (9 ), Naveaha (8), Kennedy(6), Hunter(5), Aisuke (3) and Kaiden (2). The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on July 11, 2017 at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home. Pastor Phil Paulsen of South Hills Church will be officiating. A celebration of life reception will take place at 90028 Summit View DR. Kennewick, WA 99338 on July 11, 2017 at 3:30 pm.
