Theresa Ann Hernandez, 66 years of age, passed on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, Washington.

Theresa was born February 2, 1957, in San Francisco, California to the late Eugene and Marjorie Simpson. She was one of seven children, four of whom preceded her in death and is survived by her brother, Russell, who is married to Dora and her sister, Peggy who is married to Alfonso.

Theresa resided in Santa Rosa, California where she met her husband, Jesus Valencia Gonzalez. In this union, they had raised 6 children and it is then when she decided to become a domestic engineer.

Theresa, Jesus and their children moved to Kennewick in 1992 and quickly surrounded themselves in the presence of family enjoying the outdoors, barbecuing, camping and fishing. She was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, aunt, and friend.

Theresa leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband, Jesus; children, Virginia, Christina, Mary Ann, Jessica, Melissa and Thomas; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
