Longtime Finley resident "Terry" Buckenberger left this lifetime on February 16, 2016. Terry was born in Pasco, Washington to Calvin and Georgia Buckenberger of Finley. He was the third child out of five. Terry played baseball, basketball and football for Riverview High School. He was voted the one with most school spirit. He graduated from there in 1968. After graduation he married Fonda Irwin, also of Finley. They had a son, Taryn "Robert Wilson" and one daughter, Tiffany "Marlene." Soon afterward he was hired at Burlington Northern Railroad. While working as a janitor he furthered his education, working his way to the yardmaster position. He was proud of that accomplishment. He was one of the best. He worked for the Railroad 30-plus years. In 1991 he married Denise Fisher. They had two daughters, Brittney and Hannah. Terry loved camping, fishing, hunting and music. He was witty and street-smart. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister Patricia, and Fonda, his first wife. He is survived by his wife Denise; son Taryn (Erica); three daughters, Tiffany, Brittney and Hannah; grandchildren, Ryan, Rebecca and Tristen; brother Robert (Jeanie) Buckenberger; sister Veronica Rossi and numerous nieces and nephews.
