Tara Leigh Ulmen Didier; loving sister and aunt passed away on August 19, 2020 at the age of 60. On December 26, 1959, Tara was the fifth child born to Linus Robert and Bessie Gertrude Rada Ulmen in Havre, Montana. After a short time in Havre, the family moved to Oregon and then to Kennewick, Washington. Tara was married to Jesse VanSchoiack for a short while but gained a life friend. Tara married Chris Didier in August 1989, they divorced in 2012 but Tara gained another family to love. Tara loved helping mother in law, Alice, with the Fighting Children's Cancer Fundraiser for St. Paul's church in Eltopia. Tara worked in the Restaurant Supply business for over 20 years, she was the saleswoman who always knew exactly what you needed, even if you didn't! Tara will always be known and remembered for her infectious laugh and her heart to serve others. She was always on the go and it was hard to get her to stop. Tara loved to help, from preparing food for a wedding for one of her nieces, coordinating meals for a family reunion or for making crafts for a charity event, she was always there ready to help. Tara wasn't the best driver on the road…with only two speeds FAST and STOP, you better hang on. Neil Diamond would always be playing and with that came Tara singing! She also enjoyed Neil's concerts…and we know that he was singing right to her. Camping with Tara would always have some story to be remembered…from frozen eggs in a tee-pee, to a surprise in a bucket, to moving a set-up tent in the back of a truck, to watching your whole tent almost fly over a cliff…the surprises were endless. Wherever Tara went she would always find the perfect antique shop or that yard sale that had just what she wanted! Tara also loved to explore…from rocks to seashells on the beach, she was always looking for something beautiful. Tara was preceded in death by her brothers Rodney and Randy and her parents. Tara leaves behind her brother Roger (Jan) Ulmen and sisters Tina (Gary) Hammack and Lisa Hall. Tara created many bonds with her twelve nieces and nine nephews, as well as her 27 great nieces and nephews. From crazy adventures, homemade outfits, and beautiful homemade quilts, she will be forever remembered in their hearts for her love for each one of them. Private services are being planned.
