Tamra, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026, in the comforting presence of her cherished family. Born on January 8, 1950, in Walla Walla, WA, Tamra lived a life full of love, laughter, and profound impact. Her journey, marked by resilience and warmth, remains a testament to her unwavering spirit and generous heart.
Throughout her years, Tamra was known for her fire and passion, qualities that defined her approach to life. Quick-witted and strong-willed, she navigated every challenge with bravery and grace. Her unique sense of humor and sparkling personality endeared her to all who knew her, making her a treasured friend and confidante.
A skilled and successful salon owner, Tamra was a gifted stylist and an astute businesswoman. Her career was marked by creativity and dedication, leaving a lasting impression on clients and colleagues alike. Beyond her professional achievements, Tamra was an avid decorator and holiday enthusiast, her home always a testament to her love of beauty and celebration. Her green thumb was evident in the flourishing gardens she tended with care, each bloom a reflection of her nurturing soul.
Tamra's life was enriched by her devoted husband, Jerry Abrams, with whom she shared a loving marriage for ten wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with joy and companionship. Her legacy continues through her daughter Lezlie Hall and son-in-law George Hall, her grandchildren Alex, Dylan and Lincoln, and her two great-grandchildren, Lily and Promise. Tamra was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Duane Metz.
In honor of Tamra's life, a funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday September 3rd. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have loved and supported Tamra throughout her life.
The family wishes to thank everyone for attending and for loving Tamra so dearly throughout the years. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who were blessed to know her.
