Susan Christine Eastberg-Doeler entered into rest on October 11th, 2024 in Kennewick, WA, at the age of 73. She was born on June 15th, 1951, to Eric and Ethyl (Walberg) Eastberg in Portland, OR. She grew up in Renton, WA, were she graduated from Renton high school in 1969. She graduated from Central Washington University in 1975.

She met Jeffery Doeler, her future spouse in 1979 while visiting friend in San Diego, CA, they married at Lakeridge Lutheran on July 26th, 1980. She was a loving wife and successful homemaker. They moved around while Jeff worked in the Nuclear Energy field. She got to experience the country while living in Bremerton, WA, Glendale, AZ, Cleburne, TX and Madison, AL, before happily settling in Kennewick, WA.

Sue was a bright, cheerful, and friendly woman. She was an active Christian at South Hills Church. She enjoyed attending sporting events, particularly high school sports. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Hawaii which always included whale watching. Her hobby was visiting light houses and collecting pictures of them during their travels. Her favorite was the Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth, ME.

Even through the hardship of losing her right foot, she continued to be a joy to be around up until her death. Sue is survived by her loving husband Jeff Doeler, sister Sandra Jensen, nephews, Eric (Jamie) Jensen and Craig (Tiffany) Jensen, niece, Leslie (Brad) Kunkel, brother-in-law, Brian Doeler and sister-in-law Kerry (Joe) Stachowski. She was preceded in death by her father Eric and mother Ethyl.

She will be remembered always by her family and friends.

There will be a Graveside Service Tuesday, October 22nd at 11:00am, located at Desert Lawn Memorial, 1401 S. Union St, Kennewick, WA.
