Born March 25, 1955 in Kanopolis, Kansas Sue has resided the last 46 years in the Pasco area and attended schools in Connell, Pasco and CBC. She was currently employed by U.S. DOE as a program assistant. She passed away at her home on October 18, 2013. Sue was preceded in death by parents Harlan and Frances Kroboth, husband Wayne Avery and son Ryan Tobin. She is survived by her sister Diane (Ralph) Daniels of Richland, WA, adopted parents Dan and Edna Bowman of Kennewick, WA, three sad doxies Max, Barney and Lucy, and many nieces and nephews. My sister was a strong individual who had to go through some very trying times, dealing with the deaths of Mom, Ryan and Wayne in a short time period, then to battle cancer and beat it! To come back with such a new attitude, to hear her say "It's time to start living again!", and she did. Just to know my sister had so many friends, that she touched people's lives, is so comforting. The following poem I found in one of her secret places: I'm Free Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard His call I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way I've found that peace at the close of the day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss Ah, yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me God wanted me now; He set me free. Funeral service will be held Friday, October 25, 2013, 2:00 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 14th and Union Street, Kennewick.
