Obituary

Steve Williams went home to be with his Savior on May 12, 2012. He was born on August 18, 1945 at Our Lady of Lourdes KGH didn't yet exist to Josephine and Bill. He graduated from Kennewick High School in 1963. In 1967, he married the love of his life, Phyllis Kirk, and they enjoyed 45 wonderful years together. They lived in Seattle for a short time but eventually made the Tri-Cities their permanent home. He went to work for Hanford in 1981 and worked there until his retirement in 2007. Steve was preceded in death by his parents and sister Dixie. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; daughters Bonnie Williams and Amy Tim Serven; and grandchildren Tyler, Jacob and Elizabeth Serven and Steven Williams. One of his greatest passions in life was watching his grandchildren play sports. Since his retirement, he took an active role in watching their practices and games, even when it meant traveling to do so. He was Past Master and current Secretary of the Kennewick Masonic Lodge, Chief Rabban of Masada Shrine, Worthy Patron of Alma Chapter OES, and Past Royal Patron of Artemisia Court, Order of the Amaranth. He was a terrific husband, father, grandfather and friend. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone he came in contact with. He will be greatly missed. Viewing will be Thursday, May 17th, from 3 to 8:00 p.m., at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home on 14th and Union Street in Kennewick.
