Steven Ray Rogers, 35 years, passed away in Kennewick on May 13, 2009. He was born June 13, 1973 in Aberdeen, Washington. Steve had passion for many things especially shooting pool. He was the captain of a men's pool team for many years. He loved everything about the game; so much that he even worked at Sure Shot Billiards & Darts. He also had a passion to collect things which was often the topic of many conversations. He collected everything from Budweiser collectibles, Nascar stuff, guns, knives and of course pool sticks. He was a very honest & outgoing person that would help anyone out. If he didn't know how to do it he would at least try or find someone who did. He met Katie in 1985 where they began a relationship that would continue through the years. They were married August 7, 1993. They had their relationship issues like any other couple but always stayed clinging together. Steven often said that at the end of the day they always had each other. He is survived by wife Katie Rogers; mother Linda Rogers; fathers James Bleichner & Dave Roberts; brother Jamey, Jerry, David; sisters Linda, Kristi, Kari, Kali & Jamie; grandmother Mary Rogers, many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. He will be missed dearly and always loved for any one who knew him. He touched many hearts. Please join the family for a memorial gathering Wednesday, May 20, 2009, 6:00pm, at Sure Shot Billiards & Darts, 5510 W. Clearwater Avenue in Kennewick.
