Steven Todd (Kacy) Roberts, was called home to his Lord and Savior on March 26, 2024, at the age of 42. Kacy was born on April 27, 1981 in Yakima, Washington. He is survived by his loving parents, Steven and Lisa Roberts, his brother Erik Roberts (Sydnie); Nephew Maverik Roberts, Niece Logan Roberts, best friend and fiancé' Jessie Kern, his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his Great Grandparents Sam and Margaret Meacham, Great Grandmother Cleo Cooper, and Grandmothers Helen Chism and Jeanie Roberts, along with multiple great-aunts and uncles.

Kacy spent his youth in the Tri-Cities area and attended school there. He later resided in Spokane where he enjoyed his dream home, dogs, career in plumbing, and the love of his life, Jessie, whom he was excited to one day make his wife. He loved visiting his family and friends in the Tri-Cities and had hopes and plans to one-day return to the area.

Kacy loved Jesus Christ and attended church services at Soul Patrol Ministries and Southside Christian Church in Spokane. He felt immense pride and enjoyed time spent as a volunteer assisting at the church food bank. Amidst the complexities of life, and challenges faced, he always knew that God was the only way.

Kacy was a fun-loving person who loved to joke and make others laugh. He left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered. If you knew him well or barely at all, he always left you thinking. Whether it was about how impulsive, ridiculously funny, or just down right outlandish he was at times, he left his mark! Kacy was a very deep person who despite life's personal struggles always wanted to do better and be better.

He will continue to stay with us through our great memories, all the laughs he forced us to endure whether we were in the mood or not, or being made to say "I like that!" We will see him everywhere and think of him often: tattoos, plants, dogs, his mom's favorite dishes, anytime you hear loud music, or anything related to one of his many hobbies or obsessions.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Mueller's Funeral Home, 1401 S. Union Street, Kennewick, Washington, June 15, 2024 at 1:00pm. Aunt Robin and Uncle Brad will be hosting a Dessert Social at 5802 W. 26th Avenue, Kennewick, (2 miles from venue) to honor Kacy's love of sweets and reminisce and share memories. All are invited to attend. Kacy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. God has brought us great comfort knowing we will one day be reunited with Kacy because of our hope in Jesus Christ and His work on the cross. May he rest in peace.

We little knew that day,

God was going to call your name.

In life we loved you dearly,

In death, we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you.

You did not go alone.

For part of us went with you,

The day God called you home.

You left us beautiful memories,

Your love is still our guide.

And although we cannot see you,

You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,

And nothing seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one,

The chain will link again.
