Steve was born July 16, 1942 in Los Angeles, CA. When Steve was 18 months old his family moved from the old home place to Ringold. That is where Steve and his wife Judy lived until his passing at Kadlec Medical Center on June 20, 2009. Steve graduated in 1960 from Connell High School. In 1963 he joined the Navy. He was very proud to serve his country in its time of need. After he got out of the Navy in 1969 he became a master of many trades. Steve was a mechanic, oil rigger, road crew worker, brake man, combine driver, dry land farmer, ditchrider, but the most important job was when in 1975 he moved back to Ringold to help his dad run the farm. Besides his family, Steve's greatest passion was hunting and fishing, especially with his friends. It was not unusual for him to be out on a lake with his wife and friends. Steve is preceded in death by his beloved father Max, his brother Allen, his sister Ilene and his grandparents. Steve is survived by his wife Judy of Ringold; his mother, Patricia Kinne; children, Frankie McClure of Spokane, Kenneth and Laurie Crawford of Connell, Jeff and Pam Kinne of Pasco, David Crawford and Aricka of Connell, Susan and Jerry Braithwaite of Cheney and Steven Daniel and Sky Kinne of Basin City. Grandchildren, Kianne, Katelyn, Tre, Tye and Victoria. Siblings, Carl and Sally Kinne of Pasco, Nancy Roberts of California, Pat and John Pease of Sequim, Chris and Dorian Desparte of West Richland, and numerous nieces and nephews. Steve also leaves behind special friends Frank and Carolyn Anderson, Dave and Linda Ferguson, Gary and Duana Ross, JJ and Nancy Danz, Tom and Rocky Yates, Willie and Heidi Harrington, Mel and Doris Hood, Jason and Heather Miller, Greg and Teri Standridge.
