Steve Bjork 61 of Kennewick passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2013 of a stroke surrounded by his wife and daughter at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane. He was born October 27, 1951 in Orange, CA, the youngest son of the late Lawrence and Emily Bjork. He married his wife Tye in Hawaii the year of 1984. They were married four years before having their baby girl, Amanda. They lived in Orange, CA before relocating to Kennewick in 1991. Steve worked as a chemical operator for Unocal/Agrium for 36 years. Steve's happy place was being on the golf course. He enjoyed watching football, Nascar and listening to country music. Steve and Tye loved to travel especially to Las Vegas. However his favorite place was being at home with his family and his shih tzu. Steve is survived by his wife Tye of Kennewick, WA; sons Robert 35 of Corona, CA and Brian 33 of Bakersfield, CA; daughter Amanda 25 of Kennewick, WA; grandchildren Brooklyn 6 and Cole 4; brothers Larry of Warren, OR and Curt of Placentia, CA. A memorial service will be held Tuesday May 28, 2013 11:00 am at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home 1401 S Union Kennewick, WA.
