Sonja Kay Givens, 86, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026, in Kennewick, WA.

She was born on May 24, 1939, in Condon Oregon, to George Lowell Fuller and Pearl Marie Mosher.

She is survived by her daughters, Karla Kay Wicks of Bellevue, Idaho, and Lisa Zoe Holland of Lincoln, California; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Leann Proctor; and her siblings.

Sonja was a devoted mother who loved her children deeply and worked tirelessly to provide for them. After her divorce and as a single mom, she was resourceful and determined, stretching every dollar and ultimately achieving the milestone of owning several homes. Life was not always easy, but she faced its challenges with resilience and always made sure her family was cared for.

She had a deep compassion for animals; she supported and fed them when she could. She also found joy in life's simple pleasures—playing cards, walking, taking drives, traveling when the opportunity arose, and serving those she loved.

Sonja was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved her Savior, Jesus Christ. She served as a missionary for the church in Sydney Australia and faithfully shared her beliefs with others throughout her life, remaining a missionary at heart until the very end.

A graveside service will be held on April 3, 2026. The viewing is at 10am at Mueller's Funeral Home and the graveside service is at Mueller's Desert Lawn Memorial Park, both are located at 1401 S. Union St. Kennewick WA.
