Shirley A. Middleton, our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and best friend, joined her loving husband Robert, and our Heavenly Father, on October 10, 2008. She was born March 19, 1929 in Lyman, Nebraska. Shirley married Robert on February 20, 1949 where they farmed for five years in Nebraska. As one of the original homesteaders to the Block 15 area, her passion, hard work and determination was evident in the success of their farm. The three things mom said were most important in her life were her children, grandchildren, and her home. She loved her flowers, gardening, reading and spending time with those she loved. She is survived by her children, Bill Cinda Middleton, Karen Rickenbach, Gary Lori Middleton, Joan Jack Zimmer, Laura Chris Law, Janet Rolo Esparza, and Jim Dionne Middleton; 27 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Robert; her parents, Ruth and Homer Beabout; and son-in-law David Rickenbach. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 14th from 5-8:00pm at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home in Pasco. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 15th at 11:00am at Faith Assembly Christian Center in Pasco, with interment to follow at City View Cemetery in Pasco. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Golden Age Food Service or a charity of your choice
