Shirley Kaye Bagley, age 83 passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025 at Trios hospital in Kennewick, Washington. Shirley was born on December 20, 1941, in Fulton, Missouri. Shirley's family moved to Washington when she was 5 years old. They first lived in Granger, then later in Sunnyside. After graduating from Sunnyside high school, she attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah and studied Psychology.

Shirley married James Kent Bagley on December 19, 1963, in the Salt Lake Temple in Utah. They later moved to Seattle so Kent could attend the University of Washington School of Dentistry. After graduation, they moved to Virginia while Kent served as a Dentist for the Army. In 1970, they moved to Pasco, Washington where Kent opened up his private dental practice. Shirley gave birth to seven sons and one daughter. Kent and Shirley were married for over 61 years.

Shirley spent her life serving her family, her church and her community. She was a consummate cook and a skilled singer. She had a sharp wit and loved a good movie. She was loving and willing to provide relief to those in need. Shirley passed away on the last day of winter. We know that for her spring has now arrived and she has been reunited with family members awaiting her in Heaven, including her oldest child, Gregory Scott Bagley.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Kent Bagley, and seven of her children; Andrew Bagley, Derek Bagley, Ryan Bagley, Quinn Bagley, Kirk Bagley, Rachel Cassity, and Evan Bagley; 30 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. She truly believed that families can be together forever.

A memorial service will be held for Shirley on April 12 at 10 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building at 4305 Crescent Road in Pasco, Washington.
