Sherrie Hansen Martell, 78, of Richland, WA; beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; died Sunday, June 12, 2011, at Kadlec Regional Medical Center. A viewing will be held at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home in Kennewick, WA on Wednesday, June 15th, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, June 16, at 11:00 a.m. at Kennewick LDS Stake Center, Richland, WA. She will be buried at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Richland. Sherrie was born January 9, 1933, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Oscar Earl and Violet Lorene Barrus Hansen. She was the third of 7 children. Survivors include husband Richard Martell; children Robin Martell of Los Angeles, CA; Debra Martell and Kelly Martell, both of Richland, WA; Garrett Martell of Sandy, Utah; Delain Miller of Liberty Lake Washington; Lance Martell of West Richland, WA; brother Jan Hansen of St. George, Utah; brother Kent Hansen of Eugene, OR; Sister Jenenne Goodwin of Cedar City, UT; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren who she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her brother Oscar Earl Hansen, Jr. and her sister Opal Hobson.
