Sherlyn L Rhoads, age 79, of Pasco, WA, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2023, at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, WA. Sherlyn was born on August 26, 1944, in Montrose, CO, to Lloyd and Atha McCarty. Sherlyn met the love of her life Leonard Rhoads at the bowling center he managed in Pasco, WA, in 1966. They were married on July 19, 1967. Sherlyn worked for Locati Hair for a few years before becoming a homemaker. They had two children, Bradley and Shannon.

Sherlyn loved spending time with her husband and family. Family time included bank fishing, bowling, circle track racing, and RVing. She spent her years helping her husband with his many businesses and enjoyed watching after her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sherlyn lived her life quietly with purpose and love. She had a quick sense of humor and loved a good laugh.

Sherlyn is survived by her son Bradley and wife Estela. Grandchildren Serena and Chelsea (fiancé Zach), great granddaughter Adriyana. Daughter Shannon (Jim). Grandchildren, Tanner (Shy) and Breana (TJ), their father Tom Dates (Christy) and great grandson Caiden. Stepson Roger and wife LaDola, Brighton, CO. Brother Jerry and wife Sheryl, Rainer, WA, nieces Danny and TaNeal and nephew Josh.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leonard, and brother Larry.

An inurnment memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 17 at 1:00 pm, Desert Lawn Memorial Park, 1401 S Union, Kennewick, WA 99336. Celebration of Life, following the inurnment, at the Pasco Eagles, 2829 W Sylvester, Pasco, WA 99301.
