It is with great sadness that the family of Shauna (Fast) Chavez announces her passing on November 21, 2017 at the age of 57. Shauna was born March 8, 1960 in Connell, Washington to Irwin Fast and Marilynn Biorn. She was raised in Connell and Pasco, and graduated from Pasco High School. She held several jobs, but none that she enjoyed as much as working at several local craft and fabric stores. Shauna was an excellent cook, and was often called upon to provide meals for family gatherings large and small. She loved crafts of every kind, especially sewing and cross-stitch. Perhaps what brought her the most joy was serving those that she loved, whether it was cooking her son his favorite meal or making a new Easter dress for her granddaughter. She is survived by her partner Roberto Reynoso, father Irwin Fast, siblings Paula Nance, Brian (Nida) Fast, and Shane (Jaime) Fast, and her children Carly (Patrick) Lanham, Lisa (Chad) Garcia, and Skyler Hamm. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, whom she loved very much. She was proceeded in death by her mother Marilynn Fast and her brother Mark Fast. The memorial service will be held December 2nd at 1:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4305 Crescent Rd, Pasco.
