Sharon Lee Russell, 79 years old, of Kennewick, Washington, entered into eternity on February 1, 2025.

Sharon was born May 7, 1945, to Paul and Ruth Slager in Columbus, Ohio. Sharon's siblings, Linda Sue and Larry Paul, were also born in Columbus, Ohio. During her senior year of high school, the family moved to Downey, California. After graduating from high school, Sharon took a secretarial position where she met Donald Russell. They married in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1963. They moved to Ventura County and grew their family. Don and Sharon welcomed 4 children, Sherry Lynn, David Richard, Larry Travis and Jerry Marvin.

Sharon made her choice to serve God as a young adult. Her beautiful spirit touched many lives. She had a kind and gentle heart and she lived her life to the fullest. Although she lived with multiple health and mental health issues, many have come to love her.

Sharon loved to spend her time reading, doing puzzles, cooking and crafting. In recent years her love of quilting and crocheting benefited many in the community, Including the Linus Project that made blankets and quilts for children and their families in the hospital.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Sherry, and sons David, and Larry, her 10 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Her niece, Yvonne Taylor and her nephews, Andrew and Jeremy Hughes.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; Ruth and Paul Slager, and her siblings, Larry and Linda, her husband Donald, her son Jerry, and her granddaughter Kiana.
