Sharon Jean Morris went home to the Lord on Sunday, June 9, 2024 in her home at Callaway Gardens in Kennewick, WA. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Riverview Heights Cemetery on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 10am. She is finally set free from the afflictions of her early onset Alzheimer's. Sharon was a lifelong Kennewick resident and born at Our Lady of

Lourdes hospital in Pasco on September 27, 1951 to Evelyn J. (Weatherman) and Ernest D. Foster.

Sharon attended school in the Kennewick School district and was the 2nd in the line of four generations of Kennewick High School graduates. She went on to attend a Portland business college which helped in her first challenging career at Old National Bank (US Bank) as the Executive Assistant to the Regional Bank Administrator. She later moved on to a second

successful,fulfilling and rewarding career as a representative for Avon, which provided her the joys of fellowship and community as she connected with so many people.

She had a God given talent for every hobby and art she pursued, her oil paintings being the stand out. Her talents could also be found in her jewelry making and stained glass art as just a couple of examples. She enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking, playing cards and board games, puzzles, and telling animated storied jokes. She loved vacations on the Oregon Coast and other

destinations. She found joy in church and volunteered her service with Harvest Heights in Kennewick. In 2013, she was fortunate enough to take a trip to Israel with her husband, sister and church community. Hosting holidays and other occasions with family and friends were special to her. Sharon will be fondly remembered for her genuinely warm, caring, and generous

heart and soul. Always helping family, no matter what. She carried her heart on her sleeve, gave

love freely and kept her listening ear open to everyone that needed it.

Sharon is preceded in death by her husband and best friend of 44 years Gene Morris, her parents, and her beloved dog Lady. As well as several brothers and sisters in law, cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents, whom she had loved and missed dearly. She is survived by her four children, son, Christopher Morris, and daughters Mechelle (John) Spangler, Crystal (Mike) Weatherbee, and Courtney (Aaron) Fraser. Her biggest joy though, was to be "Ga" to her 5 grandchildren Ashleigh, Nicholas, Jacob, Ethan and Benjamin. She was given new light in her heart as "Great Ga" to her only great granddaughter Lakelyn Jene.

Sharon is also survived by her older sister and best friend (Lois) Irene Torres, and her dear baby brother David (Kay) Foster, as well as a few aunts, uncles and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved very much. She enjoyed all the time spent growing up and growing old with her family. Those were the most meaningful of times. Sharon's family members are eternally grateful for the exceptional care she, and her visiting family, received during her time spent at Callaway Gardens Alzheimer's Specialty Care Center. Every single member of their team provided her with nothing but the best love, care,

entertainment, friendship, safety, respect and dignity at all times.
