Sharon G. Anstine 75 of Kennewick died on September 11, 2023, three weeks and one day after suffering a stroke in her Sunday School class. She was born in Spokane on October 25, 1947, to Henry and Fern Knodel. She graduated from Shadle Park High School. She received her A.A. from East Los Angeles College in nursing science. She received her B.S. in psychology from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. She was a Registered Nurse for 45 years at Valley General Hospital in Spokane, Yakima Memorial Hospital, and Kennewick General Hospital. She had been married for 38 years to the love of her life, Dr. Bob Anstine, who she met in a singles group which met at her house in Spokane. They traveled to 20 countries together leading tours and spreading the Gospel. They took $1.1 million of humanitarian aid to the 40 orphanages in Bulgaria meeting with King Simeon II, Queen Margarita, and Princess Maria Louisa. They adopted Matthew Anstine from Bulgaria in 1998. She is survived by the two of them at home. She is also survived by the Honorable Paul Anstine and his wife and two grandchildren and Kelly Jo Anstine and her husband and two grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister in California Carolee Corarrubias and her two married children and their spouses. She has over 7,000 relatives across America. She was a board member of Trinity Counseling Center which has saved over 3,000 marriages from divorce in the Tri-Cities. She was a board member of Armour Baptist Bible College and Armour Baptist Seminary. She was a board member of the Armour Baptist Television Network which reached from Anchorage to Atlanta and from Aberdeen to Boston for 23 years preaching the Gospel to 1 million people per month. She was a board member of the Armour Baptist Radio Network which reached over 1 million people with the Gospel. She was a board member of New Hope Community Church which has fed 100,000 people in the Tri-Cities and has given out over 500,000items of clothing to the poor and needy over a 20 year period. She attended Bible Study Fellowship and went through the program twice. She loved church and church work and even in the end could not wait for Sunday. A celebration of her life will be held at Mueller's Tri-Cities Funeral Home, 1401 S.
