Sarah Rachel Grenier, 34, passed away unexpectedly June 25, 2022 at home. She was born to Laurel and Tom Grenier in Pasco, WA. She was a lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities and graduated from Pasco High in 2005. She was formerly employed at Macy's in the cosmetic department until the pandemic. She really enjoyed that job because she liked to make people look good.
Sarah was very creative. She was an excellent artist that had tablets full of pictures she created. She even drew pictures on the mattress. From the time she was eight years old, she learned how to play the piano and was excellent at it. She still loved to play.
She started swimming at a young age and was on the swim team at Pasco Memorial Pool. When she was fourteen, she joined the Channel Cats and swam with them and competed in many swim meets. She was an excellent swimmer. From the time she was little, she loved the water. In fact, in front of the house by the driveway when it rained, there was a huge puddle which she would always sit in and splash as early as eighteen months old. Any time we were in the boat on the river, she was always the first one in the water. She wanted to make sure there were no sharks.
She was a friend to all and always had an open ear to hear what they needed to say. She was very compassionate. She was first of all an actress, and you never knew what was going to come out of her mouth. But her smile could light up the room.
Sarah is survived by her children Fidel, 8, and Nova, 2, whom she loved very much. She is also survived by her parents, Laurel and Tom, three brothers, David, Todd, and Gabriel, and twelve nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Chris, and now they are together in Heaven waiting for the rest of us to arrive.
We love you and we will miss you terribly, but look forward to our reunion.
There will be a celebration of life on her birthday, July 21, at Pasco Christian Church at 4:00 pm. Come and celebrate with us.
