Salvador Torres, age 88, passed away on January 11, 2008, at Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House in Kennewick, Washington. He was born February 17, 1919, to Elgio and Isabel Torres at a ranch in Michoacan, Mexico. He married Maria Guadalupe Orozco in 1940 and they raised 10 children living in hardships. All of his 10 children grew up to be hard workers and are successful in life. He moved to the Tri-Cities area in 1986 and began working on farms in the Basin; Salvador was a hard worker and a great father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. Salvador was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife; three daughters; seven sons; 59 grandchildren, 90 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
