Salvador – Was born on May 23, 1930, in Bishop Texas. First-born son of Domingo Garza and Severa de Leon de Garza. Older brother of: Antonia, Bella, Domingo Jr., and Severa. In 1932 Salvador and his parents moved from Bishop Texas to Garza Gonzalez, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and settled there where 3 more children were born. In 1947 Domingo and Severa moved with Salvador and the family to the state of Tamaulipas. They settled near a town called El Realito, it was there that Domingo and Severa were able to acquire and purchase some land and Domingo dedicated himself to being a farmer. Their last child was born there. Salvador learned to do different jobs, tending to the animals, the chickens, and other jobs were in his charge and care. In 1967 Domingo and Severa again decided to move and return to the United States. Because Salvador was a US Citizen, this was the instrument that God used so that the family could emigrate to the United States and obtain their passport and residency. At first Salvador and the family moved to different places as migrants in search of farm jobs, arriving in Mendota, California. Othello, Washington Yakima Washington and Florida City, Florida. Finally, in 1969 they settled in Mesa Washington and they lived there until 1980. From there they moved to Pasco, Washington, and Salvador along with our parents became members of Templo Betania, where they faithfully attended and participated. He looked forward to Sundays because it was a special day. Salvador's desire was always to attend church and get together to praise the Lord. Everyone in the church knew him for his own way of being, his heart was pure and simple, always sincere, always asking questions because it was his way of starting a conversation. In 1998 our parents passed away and Salvador went to live with our sister Antonia until 2005, later he lived with our sister Bella and finally, for various reasons, he went on to live at an Adult Family Home, "Brenda's Elder care" for 14 years, where he received a very special level of care and for this the family is eternally grateful to them. In July 2020, Salvador moved to Kennewick, Washington at "A.J.A.N. Adult Family Home", because he needed a different level of care, and there he also received excellent care and we will always be eternally grateful to them. On April 28, at 2:15 in the morning, Salvador breathed his last and was received into the everlasting arms of our Lord Jesus. He now lives in his eternal home where he does not feel pain or suffering. Rest in peace our brother, we will see you again, until then!
