Sadie Gadjos, age 41, passed away unexpectedly on May 18th, 2023. Sadie was a devoted and loving Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Godmother, and Friend.

Sadie was born at Kadlec Hospital on September 4th, 1981 to Laura (Lane) and Charles Murphy Jr. Sadie grew up in Benton City Washington where she attended Kiona-Benton Schools from K-12. Sadie loved growing up in a small town where she had many adventures with her brother Kyle and made countless life-long friendships.

Sadie's sense of humor, dramatic expressions and huge heart made her someone that everyone immediately adored. Sadie cherished each and every one of her friends. No matter how much time had passed, you could guarantee that one phone call or encounter with Sadie would leave you feeling like not a second had passed. She loved deeply and cared for her loved ones tirelessly and unconditionally.

Sadie met the love of her life, Scott Gadjos in September of 2008, and married him on March 19th, 2011 at the Princess Theatre in Prosser Washington. Sadie and Scott welcomed their son Colton on July 13th, 2014. Sadie's number one priority in life was providing a loving, nurturing, educational and exciting childhood for her son. Scott, Sadie and Colton shared many adventures together. Some of their favorite memories were made in Boise visiting family and friends, taking road trips to explore new places, and visiting the coast. Sadie's absolute favorite place to visit was Moclips Washington. Sadie was a doting Wife and Mother; her boys were her whole world.

Sadie had a passion for nurturing and advocating for children. Sadie worked for the Kennewick School District, most recently working as the Health and Nutrition Coordinator for the ECEAP program. Sadie also regularly spoiled the children in her life. Sadie would make spur of the moment trips to Chuck E. Cheese, splash pads, or the park that also included Dollar Store shopping sprees and Happy Meals. Seeing joy on a child's face was what made her heart the happiest.

Some of Sadie's favorite pastimes were entertaining and spending time with family and friends, spending time with her mom, walking dogs and playing with the cats at the Benton Franklin Humane Society, and spending hours on the phone solving all the world's problems with her best friend Kacee. Sadie enjoyed creating thoughtful care packages and gifts for anyone she felt could benefit. If she thought she could make someone's day brighter or help in any way, she would take the opportunity every time.

Sadie's nurturing, selfless, and kindhearted spirit will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure and privilege of knowing her.

Sadie was preceded in death by her Grandparents Frank and Juanita Murphy, Grandmother Elizabeth Hayes, Father Charles Murphy Jr, and her beloved pets Bronco, Koda and Calvie.

Sadie is survived by her Husband Scott, Son Colton, Mother Laura Lane, Brother Kyle and sister-in-law Jyasmine Lane, Best friend Kacee Moore, her beloved kitties Glittercup and Murphy, along with many other family members and friends who became family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the Benton Franklin Humane Society or Safe Harbor Support Center.
