Ruth Virginia Maw Sessions was born 16 August 1924 in Syracuse, Utah and went to her heavenly home 27 August 2018. She was born to Richard Frederick Maw and Henrietta Van Woerkom and shared her life with an older and younger brother. On the 16 August 1943 she married her childhood sweetheart, A. Dale Sessions. They spent 58 wonderful years together until Dale's death in 2001. Ruth was always close to her family and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed watching them in sports, musical programs, anything they were involved with. She is survived by her younger brother, Gene Maw; her children, Sharon (Dave) Yorgesen, Stan (Laura) Sessions, Diann (Art) Hammer: her 14 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Ruth loved her life as a homemaker, grandmother, and friend. She loved gardening, canning, and music. Her funeral will be held 1 September 2018 at the LDS chapel on 200 East Rainier Street, Othello, Washington, at 11:00 am. Following the service the graveside will be at the Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens, Othello, Washington. There will be a viewing 31 August 2018 from 6:30-8:00pm at the chapel and on 1 September 2018 at 10:00am at the chapel. She will be greatly missed by her family who loved her greatly and by all who knew her.
