Russell Alan Simpson

Russell was born on May 14th, 1958 in San Francisco, CA. Russell moved to Richland, WA. He worked at Lamb Weston for over 25 years, where he met and was married to Cynthia Simpson (Baird). They were married for thirty-one years and had four children, Jason, Chris, Joshua, and Rachel. They were married until her passing in February 2013. Russell met Dora Simpson (Figueroa) and were married for nine years.

Some of Russell's hobbies included camping, fishing, hang gliding, working on cars, watching cooking shows, annoying everyone with his horrible singing and terrible dad jokes.

Russell is preceded in death by Margie (mother), Tommy, David, Steve, and James (brothers), and Theresa (sister). Russell is survived by Dora Simpson, Peggy Herrera (sister), and his children; Jason Simpson, Chris Simpson, Joshua Simpson, Rachel Simpson, Denise A. Figueroa, Adalberto Alfaro (Nereida Solorio), multiple nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Russell was a very loyal friend, co-worker, and family member. His knowledge and teaching abilities will always be remembered. He will be missed by many.
