Russell E. Miller, son of James W. Miller and Nellie McClerry born 12-5-24 in Nortonville KS., Jefferson Co Kansas was his home until 1946 when his parents moved to Washington State. He was the youngest in a family of 13 siblings. His parents and all his brothers and sisters precede him in death. Married Neita F. Dunn at Methodist parsonage in Perry, Kansas Sept 1947. To this union were born 6 children, Nelda Brock, Jeannie Connor, Rhonda Brown, Lisa Green, Russ Miller and Lana Beyers. Rhonda and Chirstina Connor precede him in death. He and Neita have 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He worked at Brick Yard in Granger, WA as assistant foreman and long haul truck driver. Then transferred to Brick Yard in Kennewick in 1962 from there to Tru Stone in Richland as outside salesman. He retired from Western Material in Pasco. In Granger he was a volunteer Fireman and worked with J.C. organization. He enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing. Although his family came first and top of the list the grandchildren were his first joy. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday July 12, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church 2001 W. Kennewick Avenue, Kennewick, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice at the Chaplaincy, 2108 West Entiat Ave., Kennewick, WA 99336.
