Obituary

Russell Dean Homewood passed away peacefully on August 11 at Bonaventure of the Tri-Cities. Russ was preceded in passing by Judith, his wife of 50 years, son Russell, his Mom and Dad, and 4 brothers, including his twin Brother Roger. He is survived by his daughter Michelle (Robert Jorgenson), son Michael, granddaughter Cassandra, grandson Tanner, sister-in-law Sherri (Jim Robinson) of Spokane and numerous nieces and nephews, including John Stephens (Diane) of Pasco and Rhonda (Daniel Prill) of Bad Axe, Michigan. Russ was a long-time Kennewick resident settling here as his last duty station after a 20-year Coast Guard career where he rose to the rank of Chief Boatswains Mate.

Judy and Russ owned a local property management company, managing both their own properties and several other retail and office centers.

Russ was an avid Tri-Cities sports fan, following the Americans, Dust Devils, Fever and local high school teams. Russ and Judy loved spending as much time as possible on their boat cruising on the Columbia River or with friends around the pool or on group journeys to Mexico and Hawaii.

The family wishes to thank the many caregivers and the team at Baskin-Robbins who gave Russ and the family so much joy and comfort in his final years.
