It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Roy Dale Wiprud on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Roy was born on November 6, 1956 in Pasco and lived in the Tri Cities his entire life. Roy was a procurement specialist, working for various companies in the area until his health required retirement.

Roy is most known for his sharp humor and his love and knowledge of music. He was especially fond of classic rockabilly, Bob Dylan and Tom Petty. He was a generous friend and family member, a faithful and loyal Seahawk and Mariner fan.

Roy's parents, Russel Wiprud and Dawn Morrison Wiprud, preceded him in their deaths. Roy is survived by his Aunt Madge in Adelaide, South Australia, his Aunt Marge in Milton, WA, special cousin Dawn from Edgewood, WA, his Uncle Troy in Kennewick, Donna, Russell's partner of 28 years, from Spokane, and his best friend of 50 years, Bob Bradford of Pasco. We will all miss his wit, his strong opinions and his ability to converse on any and all things. He leaves us in awe of his spirit of positivity in spite of all his suffering.

Roy's family would like to thank the vast numbers of professionals in the medical community in the Tri Cities for their help and assistance in his healing. In particular we'd like to thank Jordan and the team at Solutions Home Health Care for their attention and companionship.

There will be a no-host gathering at Ice Harbor Brewing Company on Bruneau in Kennewick at noon on April 12.
