Roy Edwin Taylor, age 87 passed away Monday, December 1, 2008. Roy was born on April 17, 1921 in Wenatchee, Washington. Roy served in World War II and worked for 28 years at Wades Clothing in Pasco. Roy was married to Betty Ellon Harter, who preceded him in death. Roy is survived by his domestic partner of 26 years, Dorene Routt, of Pasco, three children Barry, of Santa Rosa, California, Alan of Hood River, Oregon, and Linda Boothe, of Pasco; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Mueller's Tri Cities Funeral Home 1401 S. Union St. Kennewick. Burial will take place at Desert Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and to The Tri City Chaplaincy Hospice House.
